2023 Grants - Final Report Deadline
March 22, 2024
FAILURE TO SUBMIT A FINAL REPORT BY THE STATED DEADLINE WILL RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION FOR THE 2024 APPLICATION CYCLE.
Requirements
You’ve received a grant from the Foundation’s Spring Grant Cycle – Congratulations! Below are the actions required of you so that you can receive your grant check this year and continue to be eligible in next year’s grant cycle.
1. Sign and return the grant letter
The grant award letter must be signed by the grant applicant and the pastor (for parishes) or principal (for schools).
2. Announce to your community that you received a grant
You can make this announcement in your bulletin, e-newsletter, social media accounts, or anywhere else you communicate with your parishioners/donors. Use the sample language and images in the resources section below to make this simple and easy.
3. Update the Grants Program Manager of any significant changes to your project
We understand that things don’t always go exactly as planned. You only need to inform the Foundation about significant changes to your project. If the project cannot continue in the spirit of the original application, you will be asked to return the funds to the Foundation.
4. Submit reports
The Grants Program Manager will reach out about halfway through the 12 month grant period and ask for updates about your program. If you are planning significant changes to the original purpose of the grant, now is a great time to ask the Foundation for permission to change the purpose of the grant. Look for a communication from the Grants Program Manager for more details.
The Final Report is always required. Failure to submit the Final Report will result in your organization’s disqualification for the following year’s grant cycle in the category of the missing report. E.g. if you fail to submit a report for your Parish Stewardship grant, the parish will not be allowed to submit a report in the Parish Stewardship category during the following year’s grant cycle.
The Final Report must be submitted via the online portal. See your Grant Award Letter and communications from the Grants Program Manager for the due date. You must submit one picture with your Final Report. We understand that some of you can’t easily take pictures of your projects, especially those serving disadvantaged communities. In those situations, we encourage you to come up with a creative solution, for example, a picture of your volunteers working together or a picture of the meals/supplies being distributed.
Marketing Resources
At the Foundation we strive to be partners in your success. We awarded you a grant because we believe in your project and want you to be more successful than you thought possible!
We put together these resources in the hope that some of them might be helpful for your project.

Tips for Marketing your Projects & Events
Repetition is key! Try to reach your audience in as many ways as possible – mailed invitation, email invitation, announcements at mass, announcements in the parish bulletin and diocese bulletin – anywhere your target audience might see your announcement.
Be sure to include an eye-catching graphic in your announcement.
Keep it short and simple. No one wants to read a long paragraph of information…and they won’t! Try using short bullet points and images as much as possible.
Make sure you start advertising at least 6 weeks before your event to give people ample time to check their schedules and RSVP (if you’re asking for RSVPs).
