Monsignor John Sandersfeld was passionate about parish ministry. During his lifetime he traveled throughout the United States learning how parishes function, discovering best practices, and sharing his knowledge by developing the first documents of the conference on parishes in the United States. He recognized that parishes are about relationships not buildings.
Through his estate, Msgr. Sandersfeld made one final gift to our parishes. He established the Msgr. John Sandersfeld Fund for Parish Mission Development which will be used to fund annual workshops for parish staff on parish vision.
